Update: The service group was very responsive to my Amazon review (below). They agreed to send me new hardware. The replacement lock is MUCH better. The previous unit, upon removal, showed a wire was chafing. This was an issue with the previous design and the wire hitting the plate. The new plate has a different design to alleviate this issue. I've also found the fingerprint FINALLY works perfectly for me. Hope this lasts for a long time, but initially very impressed with the new hardware and appreciate the excellent product support.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Original Postin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Really wanted to like this lock. Set up easily, the app was good (not great). Setting up lock for visitors (friends staying at house, dog walker, housecleaner) is easy and seamless.However, two major issues:1. It just stops working occasionally. I'd say once every few months. Becomes completely non-responsive, no lights turn on, and cannot control with the app. We basically have to use an emergency key to get into the house, take out the batteries for a few seconds, and on reset works fine. Just unacceptable for a main house lock.2. The fingerprint option sucks. My wife gets her to work but almost always takes 3 or 4 tries to unlock; I've given up as my fingerprint works for a day or two and then stops.Going to start looking for another lock!
