After buying about 2 dozen sets my final opinion is spend a few dollars more for a better known lock set. Good price point, but lacking in a quality feel & smooth flowing operation. About 1 in 6 locks seem to malfunction right out of the box. So 6 locks become 5 & therefore the per lock price goes up.When I purchased this knob, I didn't realize there are 2 seperate keys. One for the deadbolt and one for the knob itself. I returned it as I already fight with too many keys and this would not work for me. It is a well made product. We got these door knobs to change out the old ones in the house we live in and they look absolutely beautiful. They all come with 3 keys each and use the same keys for the knobs we purchased, so we have 9 sets of keys. The knobs are oval/egg shaped which makes them VERY easy to grip and feels nice to hold onto. They can be installed horizontal or vertical or one horizontal and the other vertical, but the key will be sideways depending on if they’re installed vertically. They come with everything needed to install them like screws and the both strikes for the faceplate and deadbolt.Besides that, they are very nice, solid and heavy so they are really well made and most importantly they work great! They come in a few different colors as well, so they should look nice on just about any door.I recommend getting the set for having the same knobs on the front and the back door, however you can just purchase 1 knob if that’s all you’re wanting/needing.I have liked these knobs!! They look great and are stylish! I would by again. This was a 5 pack of privacy knobs (interior lockable) - one of the knobs was bent and would not turn. I have read before that the knobs are noisy and they are. Also, some knobs are harder to turn than others. I like the look and overall am happy enough with the knobs. I would like to be able to get a replacement for the one knob rather than Amazon requesting a return of all knobs (even though the others are already installed) - which I won't do because that is too much work for one defective knob.I don’t particularly like the shape of the knobs and sometimes the key’s don’t slide in smoothly. The price was great for these but I now know why. The first round I had one where some of the mechanical components seem to have bent so when you turned the knob it would slip. I returned that set and got a new set. The garage door (gets used the most) started slipping last week so I pulled the knob off an noticed that the same component bent somehow so I pushed it back in, but after a few turns the whole knob has now failed. The finish has also started to come off, so they look great but would need to be re-painted within a year.Overall a good set of locks. I needed to replace all of the locks in my new home and these worked well. Two things to note. EACH lock set comes with 6 keys, so they add up pretty quick. Also, I wasn’t able to figure out how to get the lock lever in the right direction. For example, when the door is unlocked, the lever is vertical and when locked it’s horizontal. This is opposite of all of the other locks I’ve used. It may have just been that I didn’t see how to switch it up, idk. Installation was simple and fit as a direct replacement of the old locks.
